Route 2 Recruitment has relationships with two partner Rec2Rec agencies in Australia which means we can offer opportunities to our candidates in Sydney, Perth, Brisbane, Melbourne and Adelaide. Vacancies are at all levels from Consultant to Managing Director and cover sectors including Accountancy/Finance, Financial Services, Legal, HR, Construction, Architecture, Facilities Management, Oil & Gas, Engineering/Mining, Energy, Rail, Healthcare, Pharmaceuticals, Logistics , Business Support, Sales/Marketing and IT.
How does it work?
Generally, you will have secured your new exciting position before you leave the UK. We will have arranged various telephone interviews and conversations via web-cam and usually a face to face will take part with a representative of the end client. This could change depending on your level and requirements.
What about visas etc?
For a permanent stay you will require a '457 Business Sponsorship Visa'. This can be arranged either prior to you leaving the UK or when you are land in Australia.
The criteria for a ‘457 Business Sponsorship Visa’ is as follows:
- With a tertiary qualification (University Degree), two years recruitment experience.
- Without a tertiary qualification (University Degree), 5 years recruitment experience.
(A partner, husband, wife and children can be attached to your '457 Business Sponsorship Visa'.)
How long does it take?
The interview process can take two to four weeks. Once you have been offered and signed the contract for your new role, you can then apply for the Visa. This can take up to six weeks depending on the State and the employer, as some can use solicitors to speed the application.
What will I get?
